Back open again today Tues 22nd May

Managed to catch up on some reading whilst we were closed for maintenance last week. A couple of these were business books which are now on the shelves in the bakery, (the best of which was Hit Makers by Derek Thompson).

I also caught up on what was new in the Baking Industry and came across an advert (above) for a range of “Sourdough Concentrates” to help businesses “capitalise on the sourdough market”. Mmm…

No need to run a 3 day fermentation process with the feeding schedules, bulk fermentation and whispering sweet nothings to your mothers to keep them happy.  Just buy a bucket of sourdough concentrate and you’re good to go.  . .
