A big thank you to all our loyal customers for a huge Summer, and thanks for your patience getting served on Saturday.

Time for a well needed break so the bakery is closed this week and we’re back open again on Tuesday 19th.

A break always raises the problem of the mother cultures – you can keep them dormant in the fridge for a week, but you can’t just rock up the day before opening and make bread with them. They need regular feeding to stay healthy and the odd hug too…

So a big thanks to Sam who is manning the fort while we’re away feeding the mothers so we can be back to our best on the 19th.
