More sourdough experimentation throws up a pleasant surprise – this is my favourite loaf at the moment. This loaf is the first sourdough we've made with only wholemeal flour, including the mother culture. Soft, chewy and open textured with less of a "wholemeal" flavour than most 100% wholemeal loaves and a delicious sourdough zing. Wholegrain goodness and flavour?
