Penarth Food Festival 21st July

Nice little Festival at Penarth this Sunday with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Hoping to have 2 new loaves for this one, both inspired by our recent trip to Stockholm:

Rye & Caraway: a full flavoured levain (risen with both yeast and sourdough)

Date & Apricot: yeasted tin loaf bursting with juicy fruit

Depending on the feedback we may start making these loaves regularly.

Mam (Maureen) & Dad (Roger) will hopefully be manning the stand so that Nat and I can have some time to clean the bakery, make the ferments for Monday and catch some sleep before starting all over again on Monday…
